Kenna is an Indie Pop artist and songwriter living in Nashville, TN. She deeply believes in the power of growth and healing through music. Her music creates a brave space of intention and meaning, combining heartfelt lyrics with memorable melodies and catchy rhythms.
Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Kenna knew from a young age that music was going to be a very special and sacred part of her life. She went on to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston where she began to work with long-time collaborator and producer, Jared Anderson.
Kenna is an LGBTQIA+ identifying artist who stands for unapologetically living her truth. She wants to use her voice to help others believe in and never change the unique and beautiful parts found within.
Her music creates an organic balance of Indie, Pop and acoustic elements while drawing inspiration from influences like Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, and modern artists like MUNA, Japanese House, and HAIM.
Kenna is active in the sync licensing world and has had success writing music for film, television and ads. Her music has been featured on networks like Netflix, the CW, MTV and Hallmark. Her music has been featured on Spotify editorial playlists like Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds: Pop, and New Music Friday Finland, Iceland, and Denmark. Kenna's music has also been featured on American Songwriter and publications alike.
